One More Day Of Driving
We crossed rivers even bigger than the ones we had crossed so far
The land turned from rolling hills to flat fertile farm ground
We tried to stop and exercise the children whenever possible
They took all the traveling surprisingly well
Then we got home. Or to what had been my home once upon a time
My dad had gotten us the Chinese food we lived off when I was growing up
The cousins got reacquainted
And spent the evening playing followed by a slumber party
